Traffic can be a pain, walking in heat is NOT fun, that’s why we offer great shuttle services! Hop on one of the BATA film buses that arrive at each stop every 15-20 minutes! They stop directly or nearby most festival venues – how convenient is that?!?!
Traverse City is also a bike friendly city, and we are partnering with Norte to offer bike parking at every venue! We want to make the festival as fun and accessible as possible for all you movie lovers out there! Enjoy the festival!

14 years ago, the first TCFF kicked off at the historic State Theatre in Downtown Traverse City. After years of showing amazing films and bringing people together in Northern Michigan, it’s festival eve, and there is so much excitement in the air! Michael Moore explains what is going to make this year of Just Great Movies as special as ever.
