WHY SUPPORT THE TCFF?

Traverse City Film Festival sponsorship positively impacts arts and culture, and it’s a powerful marketing tool, too. We invite you to join our event and our diverse, passionate, cultured community of film lovers.

Our sponsors make it possible for us to keep the festival and theaters grassroots, focused on the art and love of movies. We’re committed to finding the donation option that works best for you. Ask us about custom and package sponsorships, in kind donations, advertising opportunities, and special experiences, suitable for any budget. We hope you will join our sponsor family!

The festival is:

  • An annual destination for film lovers from all over the world.

  • A carefully programmed showcase of great movies curated by Oscar-winning filmmaker Michael Moore with something for everyone.

  • A place to meet hundreds of filmmakers and thousands of film lovers at screenings, in line, at parties, in restaurants, and around town.

  • An intimate and magical experience forged by the transformative power of cinema in one of the world’s most beautiful waterfront cities.

  • Running year-round at our world-class nonprofit art house movie theaters, the State and Bijou, dedicated to enriching the community through the art of cinema.

TCFF is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization. Read more on our demographics, stats, guests, and beyond! Get an overall look at festival sponsorship in our Filmanthropy Guide.

IN KIND DONATIONS

Keep It Local
Donations of goods and services help us share the things we love and do best here at home with festival visitors and guests. And businesses that offer special festival rates for core festival operations are valued custom sponsors.

Food & Beverages
Delicious local food and beverages ensure the success of these important festival fundraisers, making for the best possible celebrations throughout the week.

Help our visiting filmmakers enjoy their stay with donations to our filmmaker loft and green rooms. Our filmmaker loft is home to a swank bar and lounge, creating a great spot for our guests to relax. Our volunteers and sponsors also set up comfortable green rooms inside each indoor venue to provide a waiting area for visiting festival filmmakers and guests.

Gift Bags for Guests
Help us show off TC with the 100 welcome bags we prepare each year for visiting filmmakers, actors, and industry guests.

PRODUCER PASS

Producer Pass
The festival is very appreciative of our supporters who can purchase these special tax-deductible passes for $2,500 each. We have only a limited number available. Passes are non-transferable. Producer Pass holders will receive a special photo credential for entry into movies, parties, and events.

Producer Passes are your ticket to every public screening, party, and event at the festival. A Producer Pass allows you to receive a Sponsor Line card at all indoor venues and to stand in the Sponsor Line, to enter the theater before the general public!

This highly-anticipated first look at the festival makes it easy for filmgoers to plan the movies and events they want to attend.

Official Program Guide
Advertising in the glossy official souvenir program guide allows us to provide over 25,000 festival attendees with a keepsake that visitors rely on and reference at the festival and as a film guide throughout the year at home.
