The final results are in and we have chosen our favorite Downtown Window Display…Toy Harbor (located at 221 E. Front St.)! This year, Toy Harbor is celebrating 30 years of creative, quality toys for children of all ages, and that focus on creativity is demonstrated in full force in this year’s brilliant display.

We were blown away by Toy Harbor’s clever efforts to represent some of our favorite movies at this year’s TCFF. On the left window you’ll find an amazing portrayal of Disney’s “Moana” featuring Moana herself on a voyage surrounded by every sea creature imaginable, including her trusty sidekicks, Heihei the chicken and Pua the pig.

And then on the right you’ll find the piece-de-resistance, a toy representation of Quentin Tarantino’s “Reservoir Dogs,” with (you guessed it) the cutest stuffed animal dogs you’ve ever seen bringing to life the very dark, and R-rated film. They come complete with their own dog tags displaying the names of all the Misters from the film — and the dogs even seem to uncannily match up with each different character. It’s a little twisted, a whole lotta fun, and completely genius!

We want to thank everyone Downtown who gets in the festival spirit and dresses up their store windows for the occasion. It really adds to the energy and fun! We had some truly outstanding entries and creative interpretations, but dang, that Toy Harbor!
