Drivers for filmmakers and special guests are volunteers and may not consume alcohol before or during their shifts. Furthermore, volunteers may not arrive at any festival site inebriated. This policy will be strictly adhered to for the safety and benefit of our patrons and volunteers.
Provide a brief explanation of “FRIENDS OF THE FESTIVAL”. Each volunteer is asked to help us promote the program. Indicate location of “Friends” box. Those who become “Friends” during this year’s festival will be entered to win prizes, including an unlimited pass to next year’s festival. “Friends” will also have the ability to buy tickets to next year’s festival one week before the general public. Becoming a Friend is half-price if they sign up before September 1.
Advise volunteers of the panel or film to be shown and turn around times. (This will be showcased on a whiteboard.)
Note pertinent details occurring during that shift such as Ballots, Speakers etc.

When the shift is over any uniforms, aprons and flashlights will be collected.
Suggestions are welcome; returning the Volunteer Feedback Form before leaving is preferable. May be mailed or dropped off at festival office.
