SHUTTLES
We expect fine weather for our fine movies, but just in case rain showers blow through, remember the shuttles as a convenient and dry way to reach your festival destination. Actually, it’s a great way to get around no matter what the weather! There’s easy parking at the NMC Cherry Lot and Meijer Park-n-Ride to get you Downtown. And it’s also a great place to volunteer. See the above Answer Squad shifts to give it a whirl! For those of you who experienced glitches on Day 1 with the the new system, please rest assured that we are working to solve all problems and improve maps and signage.
TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME
You have a couple of days left to practice your swing, warm up your throwing arm, and work on your fielding skills before the big annual Volunteers vs. Filmmakers Softball Game. It happens Saturday, August 4, at 10 am at the Civic Center. Not a player? Come cheer your fellow volunteers on! Bring sneakers and a glove, and we’ll provide the commemorative tshirt!
We’re moving. We’re grooving. We’re gonna have the best festival ever.
And if you haven’t heard it recently, thank you, thank you, thank you! You make this thing a living, breathing marvel.
xoxoxo,
Meg Weichman
