Ticketing for the 2015 Traverse City Film Festival is underway! That’s right, your first shot at purchasing tickets for this year’s festival begins today — early ticketing is a special benefit reserved exclusively for our Friends of the Film Festival.

And get this: it’s not too late to become a Friend if you want to nab your tickets early to the must-see films at this year’s fest. Tickets go on sale to the public next Saturday, July 18.

Friends tickets are on sale now downtown, and online.If you’re joining us in person, come to the State Theatre, where you can wait your turn in perfect climate-controlled comfort while watching a selection of film trailers that could either aid or hinder your decision making — despite our best efforts and extensive research, there’s still no way to see them all!

So, I hope by now you’ve had a chance to look at this year’s lineup. And if you haven’t, well, what are you waiting for?!

With Hollywood legends galore, foodie films, movies for tweens, and our spotlight on equality — not to mention our not-to-happen-again-in-your-lifetime State Theatre Centennial Year Celebration event — the old adage that the festival gets better every year will no doubt prove true once more.
