KidzArt’s Art Camp!

KidzArt is excited to be working with the Traverse City Film Festival to make movies more accessible to people with children. KidzArt will be open every day of the Film Festival from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm* to offer the opportunity to attend a drop-in mini art camp. KidzArt’s Art Camp is for ages 3 and up with special requests for babysitters of children 2 and under. Available sitters will be paid for directly and not through KidzArt and are Red Cross training and CPR certified.

Students will be invited to participate in both group and individual projects with the guidance of KidzArt’s certified instructors. KidzArt will offer age-appropriate painting, drawing, sketching, sculpting projects, and more. Specialty projects such as decorating t-shirts, pillowcases, tote bags, and other items are available for purchase before the children are dropped off. While the children are participating in KidzArt, family members will be able to attend movies at any of the Film Festival venues. There is parking available in almost every direction at the KidzArt location at 129 E. State Street.

Parents are encouraged to pack snacks and beverages for their children, as food will not be provided for them. There is access to a kitchen onsite to keep such items cold.

Price
- Pricing is $7 per child per hour.
- For families of 3 siblings it will be $18 per hour.
- For families of 4 siblings it will be $22 per hour.
- For families of 5 siblings or more, it will be $25 per hour.
- For the babysitter of children 2 and under it will be $7 per child with no more than four in their care at a time.
*After 8pm the rate will be $10 per child regardless of age or siblings.

Space is limited, so registration is recommended, but not required. For any last-minute scheduling, please call the studio before dropoff. Registration forms are available by request only..
