Spring has come unusually early to Traverse City this year – and to help celebrate, the State is presenting a weeklong marathon of crowd-pleasing film favorites, all free of charge! Starting this Friday, March 26, the State will present a full day’s worth of free movies each day through Thursday, April 1. Themes for our Spring Break Movie Mania week include Superheroes Day, Matrix Day, Johnny Depp Day, Harry Potter Marathon, Judd Apatow Day and Chick Flick Day, as well as daily screenings of DreamWorks films.

Tickets for spring break films – which are all free – are available now at the State Theatre box office or by phone at 231-947-3446. There is a limit of four tickets per screening per person. Or just show up at the theater before the show you want to see – standby lines will form for each screening if it has sold out ahead of time. For the complete week’s schedule, click here.
