Hi Folks,
I stumbled upon your website through Gage and Gage, reading about the documentary “Bidder 70.” Brought back wonderful memories of my time at NMC fifty years ago. I was just a kid from Manistee, Michigan, down the road from Traverse City, and somehow I got a job at Interlochen my freshman year, schlepping pots and pans in the kitchen when I wasn’t going to class on the NMC campus.
My time at Interlochen opened my eyes to art in the making on the college level. I was also introduced to film art at the Traverse City Film Festival. ‘Last Year at Marienbad’, ’8 1/2′, numerous other life-changing classics; the film festival was a powerful experience and a powerful influence in my life.
Thanks to everyone who was involved those many years ago, and thanks to all of you who are still making this possible.
